Montefiore dell’Aso – Castignano – Montalto delle Marche – Force

This themed itinerary focuses on two materials, which are used and worked in very different ways. Both these materials are representative and typical of Piceno and its traditional crafts. The first material is gold, the dominant feature in the priceless reliquaries housed primarily in the museums of sacred art, and a stylistic aspect that distinguishes the work of Carlo Crivelli. The second is copper, a less prized material, but one used by the talented master craftsmen of Force to create high-quality crafts, packed with history and traditional elements.
