The Centro di Educazione Ambientale “Asaspeleoclub” [Environmental Education Centre] is based in Santa Maria, in a beautiful natural setting that encompasses active travertine marble quarries, beeches, oaks, age-old chestnut trees, waterfalls and caves.

It is primarily involved in speleological activities (guided tours, excursions, training sessions, classroom lessons, etc.), with the objective of protecting and promoting the environment and cave system of the Monti della Laga.
