The itinerary starts in Ripatransone, home to an interesting collection of pottery <\/strong>on the first floor of the Museo Civico di Palazzo Bonomi Gera<\/strong>, as well as an original and unusual museum <\/strong>devoted to terracotta<\/strong> and its production.<\/p>\n

This is the Museo del Fischietto e del Vasaio<\/strong>, founded by the potter Vincenzo Peci<\/strong> with the intention of illustrating the production of terracotta objects. The museum displays six hundred terracotta whistles made during different periods<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Adjacent to the Museo del Fischietto is the pottery workshop<\/strong>, created by the artisan Vincenzo Peci in his own home. The workshop exhibits work tools and around four hundred terracotta pieces.<\/p>\n

Also in Ripatransone, in the 15th-century crypt of the church of San Filippo, is the Museo della Civilt\u00e0 Contadina e Artigiana<\/strong>, which exhibits around one thousand five hundred work tools used in the countryside and in the artisanal workshops of the Ripatransone area up until the 1950s.<\/p>\n

The exhibition provides a detailed picture of how life unfolded in the fields and workshops<\/strong> and, above all, the tools used before industrialization and the mechanization of work made them obsolete. The museum houses the work tools<\/strong> used by blacksmiths and carpenters, tools used for weaving, viticulture, and weighing cereals and legumes, and some means of transport<\/strong>, including three decorated carts, a sterza<\/em> (four-wheeled cart), a trap and various yokes for oxen.<\/p>\n
