The Polo Museale Civico Palazzo de Castellotti<\/strong> is situated on Via Roma, in a beautiful historic building. It houses a very rich and varied selection of cultural heritage<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The narrative begins in the cellars of the building with the Museo delle Tradizioni Popolari<\/strong>, divided into four sections (the wheat cycle, artisanal workshops, the home, and the winery).The original dining room of the building, situated on the ground floor, houses the Quadreria<\/strong>, and an altarpiece by Simone de Magistris is exhibited along the stairs leading up to the first floor.The first floor is home to the Museo del Merletto a Tombolo<\/strong> and the Museo Civico Archeologico \u2018Guglielmo Allevi\u2019<\/strong>.There is also a small educational archaeology <\/strong>park in the garden.<\/p>\n

The Museo Aldo Sergiacomi<\/strong> is situated on Via Ischia, near Piazza del Popolo.It is a very unusual museum and workshop<\/strong>, housed in the studio of the sculptor Aldo Sergiacomi<\/strong>, originally from Offida. As well as some of his works and sketches, it also displays his tools and documents his artistic thought processes and how they took shape in his works.<\/p>\n

As well as preparatory sketches for the great masterpieces created by the artist during his lifetime, such as the sculptural group for the Santuario di Sant\u2019Agostino and the original plaster casts for the bronze portals at the church in Teramo and the cathedral in Fermo, the four rooms<\/strong> also house his workbench with all his marble-working tools, as well as drawings, sketches and plaster models that document the various phases of his sculptural projects.<\/p>\n
