{"id":969,"date":"2014-04-25T09:39:19","date_gmt":"2014-04-25T09:39:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.youpiceno.it\/en\/?p=969"},"modified":"2014-05-15T09:44:19","modified_gmt":"2014-05-15T09:44:19","slug":"fritto-misto-ascoli-piceno","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.youpiceno.it\/en\/food-and-wine\/fritto-misto-ascoli-piceno.html","title":{"rendered":"Fritto Misto"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Fritto Misto<\/strong> is a gourmet food event that has delighted Piceno territory for a <strong>decade<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The event takes place in the splendid setting of Piazza Arringo, the heart of <strong>Ascoli Piceno\u2019s old town centre<\/strong>, on the long spring break from 25 April to 4 May, with the aim of promoting frying, one of the most <strong>popular cooking techniques in the world<\/strong>, starting with the \u201c<strong>oliva ascolana del Piceno<\/strong>\u201d, a Marche gourmet ambassador worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>For ten days the great Palafritto is home to more than <strong>30 delegations of chefs from Italy and abroad<\/strong> offering more than 60 types of delicious fried items, from the most traditional to the most innovative: a menu made up of many types of <strong>street food<\/strong> and <strong>haute cuisine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Over the years, the event has become one of the most appreciated nationally and is able to attract tens of thousands of tourists from every Italian region.<\/p>\n<p>In the rich program offered to visitors, in addition to the delights of Palafritto, there are some noteworthy <strong>workshops<\/strong> dedicated to pairing Marche fried dishes with wines and craft beers, and courses for children to learn how to make \u201colive ascolane\u201d, as well as <strong>cookery courses<\/strong>, show cooking, and special reduced tickets for <strong>visiting<\/strong> Ascoli Piceno\u2019s <strong>museums<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.frittomistoallitaliana.it\">www.frittomistoallitaliana.it<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youpiceno.it\/en\/events\/piceno-senso-creativo.html\" target=\"_blank\"><em><strong>Piceno Senso Creativo<\/strong><\/em><\/a> will be in attendance at the <strong><em>Fritto Misto<\/em><\/strong> event with a stand dedicated to exploring the territory, including gastronomic specialities, natural beauty spots, artistic and cultural heritage, itineraries, offers, trails!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Fritto Misto is a gourmet food event that has delighted Piceno territory for a decade.
